Private Ryan Wrathall of the 1st Battalion The Princess of Wales's Royal Regiment died while serving in Iraq on 12 February, 2009.
Twenty-one-year old from Surbiton in Surrey had been serving with 1 Platoon, A Company.
He joined the army in November 2007 and trained at Catterick before joining The Princess of Wales's Royal Regiment in Paderborn, Germany in June 2008.
He deployed to southern Iraq in November and was about halfway through a six month tour of the country as member of the 5 Rifles Battle Group when he died.
He was a popular young soldier who had many nicknames among his comrades, including 'Wrath', 'Waffle' and 'Socks'.

FALLEN SOLDIER
Fallen HeroI stare at the coffin;
Draped with the nation's cloth.
I'm momentarily startled;
As the guns go off.
Another fallen soldier;
Being laid to rest.
I struggle to breathe;
For this tightness in my chest.
The bugler so smooth;
As he hits every note.
It is hard to swallow;
Because of this lump in my throat.
Tears fall like rain;
As I look to the sky.
No matter how many times I hear it;
Taps still makes me cry.
The bugle now silent;
